on ICT as informative tools
Technology
has become a key mediator of human interactions not only in schools but also
in other fields, such as commerce, media, and business, etc. we get information from various sources such as tv channels, radio broadcasts, newspapers, the internet, books from the library. I
prefer the internet as the best source of media of instruction to collect
information as the Internet is one of the most advanced technologies that are used
worldwide and it has undoubtedly become a huge
part of our lives.
Many people in today’s generation are relying on the internet to do a lot of different tasks. In fact, wherever we go, we can see people holding some sort of gadgets and using the internet to play games or search for things that they want. The internet can entertainment people and refrained from being bored.
Today, many students are using the internet to do research and complete their assignments. Since the internet is full of information, most students use this as a source of education. In fact, there are now even online programs and courses available, which people can easily access to study and learn other things even while they’re at the comfort of their homes. Years ago, if I want to find something out, I had to run to the library and look through a pile of books, which is very tiring and time-consuming. But now, with just a few clicks of the mouse, we can get ample information on a particular topic. The Internet is also one of the easiest and fastest ways through which one can communicate. I clearly remember a decade ago, when I was back in my home town, I used to go to my village shop in order to do a phone call to my uncles. Back then, when people wanted to speak with someone who lives in a distant place, they had to write a letter, which takes several days to reach the message to the other person. Now, there are emails, messenger, and WeChat sends messages and talk. We can even make a video call to see the person though he or she is on the other side of the world!

These advantages also
benefit other industries as well, particularly the entrepreneurs and business
owners. Before businessmen had to travel overseas to speak to a client, now
they can make negotiations simply by sitting on their own office chair. The Internet
can be helpful for us in so many ways. In fact, many people in today’s
generation can’t imagine a life without having those technologies.
Nowadays students are engaged through e-learning to endure their learning and it has changed the approach students are being taught. As we can see numerous information has been uploaded on the internet, it helps the learning process as it makes things easier to understand and visualizes what is being taught.
Through e-learning, I knew that in order to have effective teaching and learning the teacher needs to provide the references and content for the student in the beginning, during, or after the activity. When I use ICT as informative tools I get to learn how to integrate appropriate ideas, examine the information, and develop net evaluation skills.
