Reflection on simulation and video lesson

Reflection on simulation and video lesson Simulation is another creative way of presentation where we can make our learner’s attentive. If we are teaching in math (concept counting), we can use simulation to show them practically with the help of PowerPoint. I found that it will be beneficial for students with learning styles (audio, visual). If the children are visual learner, with the help of the pictures and images will give them a clear concept.  https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1gzE0LRmv_Rd_wq81p9c2ndwlwfeTx1gIKoCTT_GiGD8/edit#slide=id.p1 For the audio, we can always insert our voice to teach that concept. I being a lower learner, found many challenges where I don’t know what animation to insert and how to make them automatically and about the delay and the duration. I got totally lost sometimes in the middle. Sometimes, my animation didn’t work, I started with the first slide which consumed my time but as side by side, there was a lot of learning. I was unaware of s...

Reflection on co-constructive tools

Reflection on Co-constructive tool Application that support the construction of knowledge through a shared understanding (collaboratively consolidate the ideas) is called a co-constructive tool. Some of the examples of the co-constructive tools are Google docs, electronic whiteboards, blogs, wikis, and discussion forums on portals. I came to know that importance of co- constructive tools, where I can co-edit, communicate database, texts, graphics, enhance the collaborative learning environment, high-level cognitive processes-explanation, problem-finding, and problem-solving. Therefore, each member can edit another member’s work and we had a wonderful discussion. I think as a teacher we really need to inculcate these types of knowledge to students where they can explore and construct much knowledge by themselves without direction from the teacher.  Through this, I came to know that co-constructive is one of the best strategies where we can do our assignment or any othe...

Reflection Constructive tools

Reflection on Constructive tools  During my school days, our teacher used to preach for the whole class and at the end of the day, we were asked to answer some questions and then memorize the whole lesson. It was very difficult for us to do it. We didn’t have an opportunity to explore nor did we have an active interaction in the class. That’s why we didn’t learn to think critically. We solely relied on the outdated text and followed what text tells us to do. But then, we didn’t have technologies that can be integrated into our classroom. There were monotonous teachings until I was in high school.   Now we live in a world of technology and it is everywhere entwined in almost every part of our culture. I can see how technology affects the way people live, work, play, and most importantly learn. If those devices are used correctly, it gives students the opportunity to enhance interaction with their classmates and instructors through online discussion.  Using presentations...

Reflection on ICT as communication tools

Reflection on ICT as communication tools   Information Communication Technology is playing a very vital role in education in the modern era. Whatever we want to communicate to students, people, or our friends in the positive sense is called information. Communication means conveying our messages by establishing a two-way channel. Whatever we are planning to communicate or exchange knowledge between two people or more is called communication. Communication technology is the process of sending receiving and exchanging information. Where I find this communication helps in many ways unlike in the past two decades we have less excess to the internet.    As a future teacher, I can promote  massive changes in education such that  students are encouraged to access information on their own and are not merely dependent on teachers in the classroom. Now we focus more on student-center and the students are expected to use effective information sources and cogni...

Reflection on ICT as informative tools

ICT as an informative tool                     Reflection on ICT as informative tools Technology has become a key mediator of human interactions not only in schools but also in other fields, such as commerce, media, and business, etc.  we get information from various sources such as  tv channels, radio broadcasts, newspapers, the internet, books from the library.  I prefer the internet as the best source of media of instruction to collect information as the Internet is one of the most advanced technologies that are used worldwide and it has undoubtedly become a huge part of our lives. Many people in today’s generation are relying on the internet to do a lot of different tasks. In fact, wherever we go, we can see people holding some sort of gadgets and using the internet to play games or search for things that they want. The internet can entertainment people and refrained from being bored....
